HYPNOTHERAPY CAN HEAL, CALM & TRANSFORM YOU

'Want To Increase Happiness & Joy In Your Life?

Hypnotherapy Can Help.

What is Happiness?

Happiness is a positive emotion that can range from Contentment to Intense Joy. It can be triggered by positive, fun life-experiences; or by thoughts, and sometimes can arise for no reason at all! Happiness can affect many areas of life. For example, happier people tend to have better social and work relationships, make more money, live longer, healthier lives, and contribute more to society

How Can I Increase Happiness In My Life?

Both internal and external factors affect your happiness, and here's what you can to do increase it:

  1. Basic Needs: Of course, meeting basic needs like enough and proper food, hydration, sleep and safety are an important start.

  2. Improve Your Social Relationships: Having strong, supportive relationships is a key factor in happiness. Getting involved in social activities (sports teams, social clubs, hobby clubs like those you find on Meetup.com etc.), and maintain good relationships with family and friends. If any of these need work, just start with one step at a time. Need a friend? Be a friend to someone else! It isn't always reciprocated right away, but offer enough friendly gestures and support to enough people, and you'll be surprised at how quickly your group of friends and associates grow.

  3. Positive Thinking and Mindfulness. Positive thinking involves focusing on the Good Things in your life more than the negative things. Mindfulness simply means focusing on the here-and-now (and not ruminating so much on the past, or worrying about the future)

  4. The Happiness Equation: Mo Gawdat, in his famous book- "Solve for Happy" does a great job of explaining how to get there. In short (do read the book for a more-detailed path): when what you have is better than or equal to what you expect, you're happy! In other words, hope for and work for the best (and better and better), but be content with what you have in the mean time.

  5. Lots of other things like good health, exercise, novelty in your life, learning new things, mastering new things, helping other people help increase your overall happiness.

Can Hypnosis Help Increase My Level Of Happiness?

Great question, and absolutely! Since one of the most-important requirements in being happier is to improve what you and your subconscious mind focus on, hypnosis (through guided help via hypnotherapy, or even self-hypnosis) is excellent at this! Hypnotherapy can quickly help evolve what your subconscious mind focuses on from negative, scary events and memories in the past to positive, empowering thoughts and feelings. It's amazing at changing the context of events or memories that were difficult in the past into something that serves you better (i.e. by becoming wiser because of it), and helps you to redirect your top-level-thinking to thoughts and ideas of things that serve you better (like being grateful, like imagining and planning for a better future, like focusing more on where and how you have grown and gotten better, rather than focusing on flaws, failures or imperfections. It's amazing at helping people feel better and, yes, happier, after just one session; and really good at creating a foundation so that the happiness lasts through just a few sessions of hypnosis. I hope you give it a try!

Are you feeling stressed, anxious or looking for relief for different issues?

Hypnotherapy can help.

"Hypno-what??" you may be asking.

"Is that that stage thing where someone tries to control people's minds??"

Umm, no. Not exactly. And I'm glad that you asked.

Hypnotherapy is simply where a guide (like me!) helps you relax... and bypass that critical "judgy" part of the mind, and go down into the subconscious mind. It's there that we- with you full control and fully aware- take your goals and powerfully transform what's in your subconscious mind to align with your goals.

This could be goals like wanting to strengthen positive things like more-happiness, more-confidence, more-focus, better health or other great things...

It could be goals like wanting to reduce thoughts, feelings or habits like anxiety, sadness, depression, procrastination, smoking and more.

If this sounds interesting to you:

For a limited time, we're offering free sessions. We do these virtually (i.e. over zoom or over the phone). You'll need a good internet connection for computer or phone, good headphones and microphone, and a space where you can have quiet and privacy, be at least 18 years old, and be willing to fill out a feedback form afterwards.

"So, how does hypnotherapy work?"

I'm glad that you asked!

Hypnotherapy is a powerful form of psychotherapy that uses relaxation, concentration and focused attention to reach a higher state of consciousness, focus, or mindfulness.

Therapists use verbal cues, repetition, and mental images as part of the therapy sessions.

Hypnosis is often done by a therapist who uses mental images and verbal repetition. When you experience hypnosis, you often feel more relaxed, calm, and open to new ideas.

You can use it to control unwanted behaviors, to cope with pain or anxiety better, and to improve desired habits and skills (such as the ability to focus and get things done; having more happiness on a daily basis; increasing confidence and creativity, and much more!

You'll be glad to know that, while under hypnosis you are more open to suggestions you do not- in any way- lose control over your behaviors or thoughts.

If you would like to experience the power of hypnotherapy for free, for a limited time, you can take advantage of an introductory Breakthrough Hypnotherapy Session. This will be online with a trained hypnotherapist.

If you're wondering what a session might look like, please keep reading below:

What is an initial hypnotherapy session like?

This initial practice is structured like an introduction "first session" so it's a little bit longer than usual sessions. It will take about 90 minutes (whereas most follow up sessions would be around 50 minutes).

As far as what is said during the session and how you will feel, here's a quick summary:

- Because hypnosis, hypnotherapy (in San Diego and elsewhere) is simply guided-hypnosis. It is about relaxing deeper and essentially having a conversation with the subconscious mind, you (or any hypnotherapy client), will be fully aware and awake during the session. Just much deeper relaxed.

- We will have a brief conversation at the beginning of the session, where I'll ask some questions about what you'd like to work on during the session, and get some details on that.

- Then I'll explain, in more detail, what hypnosis is (it's kind of like meditation with a goal, and where you and I have a conversation during this meditative-like state). While it feels a little different for everyone, most people describe it as being very relaxing, usually cathartic and feeling very good afterwards. You are fully aware and fully in control of what you say and what you want to talk about during the session.

- Throughout the session, we'll do two different exercises. One to teach & guide you through self-hypnosis, and another that is guided by me.

During these, I'll make some suggestions that help you to further relax further, like "Take a nice deep, letting go breath..." "Imagine going to a safe place that you love" or something similar. Then, we get your imagination even more involved, and have a conversation to help bring out the best in whatever area a client is wanting to work on.

For some people, they choose to work on a more-surface-level topic, such as learning to focus more (I get this one a lot), procrastinating less or something similar. This is just fine, and people tend to finish the sessions feeling not only relaxed, but also having more specific ideas on how to accomplish their goal, as well as more confidence in knowing that their goal is coming true.

For others, who decide to work on a sort of "deeper" subject (let's say a strong lack of confidence, anxiety, depression, or something along those lines) the experience tends to be also very relaxing, as well as more-intense (in a good way, I'm told!). For people who choose to share more personal details and to dig a little deeper, they may feel a little emotional during the session (again, in a good and cathartic way). They usually then end up feeling more-empowered and more-optimistic around the topic afterwards.

Keep in mind that whatever someone chooses to discuss during these sessions, it is completely confidential.

The experience is a little bit different for everyone. What I can promise is a very relaxing session. What also tends to happen with most people is a feeling of being more-empowered around whatever topic they want to improve upon.

Everybody "goes home" with a way to do self-hypnosis on their own (if they want), a recording of the session (only if they ok recording it at the start of the session, and ask for the recording, otherwise it is not recorded).

"I certainly wasn't expecting the session to be so powerful and to get right to the cause of the issue." — Michelle

"I left with more clarity, deeper self-compassion, and a renewed sense of confidence about being seen — without abandoning myself in the process." — Dana
